Coffee Cart Ministry

Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the front porch of our church we welcome all who are in need of a latte, cocoa, tea, coffee, snack…  Our main goal is to serve those who are having financial difficulty:  living paycheck to paycheck, have been laid off from work, are homeless or any other reason for need.  We also serve members of the community who just would like to stop in for a treat, all are welcome at Christ’s table on Sundays and at the Coffee Cart on Weekday Mornings!  Please stop by!!!

Food Cupboard

We have a “food cupboard” in the church office, which provides a helping hand to those families who need help to stretch their food budget from time to time.

Pastor’s Discretionary Fund

We are able to assist a limited number of people each year with a $50 gift to go toward a utility shut-off notice or an eviction notice.  We ask that those who have these needs call the office for an appointment so we can get the required paperwork done with you in person.  206.526.2900.  This is a limited account, and please note there have been times of the year when the demand was greater than what we had available and we unfortunately had to turn folks away.

Sandwich Makers

Second Sunday of each month we make 250+ sandwiches for the ladies who attend Angeline’s Day Center for Homeless Women.  Angeline’s is the only Day Center exclusively for women that is open on Sundays.  We make ham & cheese, egg salad (from our church chickens), tuna salad and peanut butter & jelly.
