Some voices are familiar, comforting, and trustworthy. We are indifferent to some voices because they are unfamiliar and unknown to us. Other voices are untrustworthy and unsettling. How do we choose which voices we attend to? What voices are wonderful and comforting to you? What voices unsettle you? Do we hear the voice of Jesus through the din of noise and static in our world?
