Our Staff includes:

Meredith Dodd, our pastor, came to Green Lake UMC in January 2011.  She is excited to be part of such a vibrant intergenerational community.  Before beginning a career in ministry, Pastor Meredith worked as a high school and college English teacher, primarily with first-generation immigrants. She and her husband Mike have three children: Nathan (age 6), Adam (age 3) and Eric (age 1).

Diane Williams, our organist and choir director, has been here for over twenty years. She is an active member in national and state music teachers’ associations. During the week, she teaches a full studio of piano students.

Megan Barnes, our office manager, is a student at the University of Washington and fourth generation member of Green Lake United Methodist Church.  Her family has helped build this building, our community and spirit here at the castle.  Megan brings her organizational skills to our staff and can assist or direct your questions to the appropriate person to help you.

Hazel Evans, our concert coordinator, brings over forty years’ experience assisting hosting arts and education groups who utilize our sanctuary’s amazing acoustics.

Heather Smith-Teegarden is our Wedding Coordinator with over a decade in Event Coordination.  She is a Certified Event Coordinator and specializes in Green, environmentally friendly events as well as her skills in coordinating beautiful weddings here at the castle and elsewhere.

The office is open Monday & Wednesday 11:00 to 3:00, Tuesday & Thursday 11:00 to 1:00, and Friday 10:00 to 12:00,  or you can make an appointment with Pastor Meredith for other times. You can also leave a message at any time.
